A Guide To Caravan Parks In NSW

New South Wales is one of the legendary states in Australia for travel and tourism. You may be a local, or a tourist from out of state. Either way, you can reaffirm or come across some of the top caravan parks the state has to offer in this article.

This park is listed in Australia’s Hall of Fame for having won the Australian Tourism Awards three years in a row in the Caravan and Holiday category. There’s a waterpark, pool, water-sports, mini-golf, en-suites, villas and powered sites. Small dogs are welcomed to the park during the off season time, between May to October.

DISCOVERY PARK BYRON BAY

After a three million dollar makeover, this park offers the most of family fun. There’s several slides in the waterpark featured around the main swimming pool. There’s bouncing pillows for the family and guests that feel like being a bit more active can use the tennis courts. All of the sites are fully grassed.

LANI’S ON THE BEACH

A pet friendly caravan park that is just a two hours away from Newcastle. Dogs are not allowed to be let off-leash in this park, but the Old Bar Beach gives a great opportunity for dog owners to let their furry friends run free. The park offers private bathrooms, a camp kitchen and laundry facilities.

NORTH STAR HOLIDAY RESORT

Found in Hastings Point, it’s perfect for kids and adults. There’s a supervised kid’s club on weekends and school holidays. A waterpark, a fenced outdoor playground, a marine museum and a game room. Family fun is hard to avoid at this park.

NRMA DARLINGTON BEACH HOLIDAY RESORT

Right next to Arrawarra Beach, if you’re the type of travellers that live for the water, this is your spot. The park has plenty of water fountains, a waterpark, a pump track and a 9-hole golf course. A bit of something for everyone.

Overlooking Umina Beach and about an hour and a half away from Sydney, you can get lost in paradise here. There’s resort-styled swimming pools, waterparks, daily activities for the kids, a café for morning coffee, a camp kitchen and fellow camper activities to make new friends.
